LET'S GO TO INDONESIA. . .

Hello, this time around we went to other place for experience culture 1. But this time around,is free for us to choose place for site visit. So we decided to go bali to experience culture there and as we know their  architecture they very unique and amazing. This trip take 5 day 4 night , which is on 14 feb until 20 feb 2016.


Day 1 :

Before i start sharing my experience trip. I want share a few tip before you guys leaving. Here the check list :
  • Changing money ( in rupiah ) because in bali, they have a lot of money rate
  • Bring a suitable cloth/ pants ( hot weather )
  • Bring sunblock ( in bali very expensive )
  • Sunglass / Hat
  • medicine ( in case)
  • Passport ( most important item )
We took Air Asia flight from KLIA2 to Ngurah Rai International Airport, (bali) . The journey took 3 hours. Malaysia and Indonesia no different timing. We landed around 12 pm.and straight away went to hotel. The journey took 2 until 3 hours from ( Denpasar ( airport- Ubud Town ) Along the journey we can see a lot of statue and beautiful architecture and view.

We reaching around 5.30 , straight a way check in hotel. The hotel names Igna Bungalow , is located in Ubud town. The driver drop us at road side, we have to walk around 100m to reach at hotel.. We stayed 3 day 2 night 2 night . Is provide breakfast and the price was affordable. The hotel very nice and the environment make me calm.

On night, I walked all the way. The name road is called Jalan Raya Ubud, Along the road, there have a  shop street. There have a lot of restaurant ,bar , clothing shop , hotel and spa. You might rent the motorcycle if you want, easy to get along the road. For halal food, the have a malay cuisine restaurant, and have a few halal food (selling traditional bali food) .which is located Jalan Raya Ubud. I went to visit to Nani Galley. All the painting is hand made by her. all the painting,they have a meaning of it. Is free to visit.and the price also is affordable.



Day 2 :


The breakfast menu. 'pancake and tea' . It serve to your room. While having breakfast you can enjoying the view 
Let's start a day 2 with happy face
After we had a breakfast, me and my friend ( balqis) went to Floating Leaf ( eco luxury retreat ) . Is a site visit for our design class. Floating leaf is located at Jalan Pantai Purnama. It took 30 minutes from our hotel. We manage to interview one of the staff. He gave a lot of information about the architecture, lifestyle, and design. Next destination we move to Green village,Bamboo Factory, it took about 20 minutes form Floating Leaf. Is located Jl.Tanah ayu, Sibang Gede, If you want to visit, i suggest you to emil to them and make a reservation, plus need to pay for a tour. We manage to visit a private residences at green village. The house 100% made from bambo. Eventhoug the furniture also made from bambo. The house facing a river and surrounded by greenery.

Then we move to the Bamboo Factory. There is a process of bamboo making . Basically it take a long time for making a good quality of bamboo, before they apply it for the house interior or exterior . It also used bamboo for scaffolding. That's a special thing in construction ni Bali. At bambu factory usually not only do bambu process ( for house) , but it also do furniture , such as chair, craving element and door.

Then we move a third place, which is green school. Is a international school made 100% from bambu. The school really big and surrounded by greenery. . The interest about this school. they used a principe of 3R which is reduce, recycle and reused. Usually along the project made by student is collbarte to other worker industry.That's really good for them for future. Beside that they did a same activities like normal school, but in other way more to nature outdoor activities.

Last pin stop , is Bale udang. It took 25 minutes from green school. located at Jalan Nakula No. 88, Sunset Road, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali. The ambience was really nice and is quite expensive. In here you can taste a traditional bali food , The place in a semi-open area, This Main area is very appropriate for events which require big capacities  Bale Agung which located in the poolside gives a natural and fresh feeling while dining.My suggestion,if you want come on weekend, better make a reservation because usually fully booked .

Day 3 :

Early morning, i packed a stuff because we went stay at Kuta. Before we reach to kuta we , stop a few place . First stop we went to Arma Museum & Resort . Arma Museum & resort is combination with museum and resort . Mostly the art painting imported from abroad and and have a own story. If you guys want stay here also, they provide dwelling place,. Second stop is Tirta Empul . It took 30 minutes the journey.  Tirta Empul temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple. The temple compound consists of a bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese.

The third place we went to Tegalalag. Tegalalang Rice Terraces in Ubud is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddiesTegallalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud's shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan.

I went for the treaking,but half way only. Because there have a few a check point that we have to pay.Every check point the price will increase. So i decide to return back.. * actually no need to pay, because at the entrance we already pay it * So we decided to walk around the streets, Along the road, they have a street shop that selling cloth, lamp, antique stuff and restaurant.

Last check point we went to Tanah Lot , Tanah lot is a place for enjoying a sunset view. Tanah Lot is a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali. It is home to the pilgrimage temple Pura Tanah Lot , a popular tourist and cultural icon for photography and general exoticism

We straight  a way went back . It took 1 and half hours from Tanah Lot. The hotel  Located in the heart of Kuta, Tanaya Bed & Breakfast offers affordable yet stylish accommodation for travellers on the go. Tanaya Bed & Breakfast is close to the beach and a traditional marketplace. There are plenty of cheap and cheerful restaurants nearby as well as a colourful nightlife . Day 4 :
Menu : fried rice + fruits + fruit juice 

After had a breakfast , we walked along a road and experience. We went one shop that selling the africa hat. for ceremony. They sell alot of variety of dream catcher , hat . and everything is a hand made. In Kuta the weather is more hotter than Ubud. Because a near to the sea.


The first place we went to Turtle Conservation and Education Centre . where turtles are disabled care. Here also defended the turtle before being released in the sea. After that we went to Pandawa Beach. The beach was nice and a place for surfing.

The third place we went to kecak dance. Usually the performance on the evening. The ticket price is rp 100 000. The dance is  form of Balinese dance and music drama that was developed in the 1930s . Since its creation, it has been performed primarily by men, with the very first women's kecak group starting in 2006.

Last , yeah we went to shopping at KRISNA. The price is more cheaper. and selling a local brand. You guys should buy from this market. There have a few branches which is the name called Krisna 1 , Krisna 2 , Krisna 3. One of the branches i went is at Jl.
